Fantastic art form. I ordered a complete kit years ago, and have done a few drawings. I now have more time to devote to this art , having demonstrated the technique to my local Art Guild. How do,you,properly frame the finished work?
So glad you’ve gotten into silverpoint! Most silverpoint drawings are framed behind glass, like other drawings or works on paper. If you’re concerned about stopping the atmospheric changes that develop patina, avoid sealing the back of the framed work, or consider drilling holes in the bottom of the frame to let air in.
